The Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club is situated on the shores of Lake Norman, which is just north of Charlotte, NC and is the largest inland lake in the Carolinas. We are located at the site of the former Outrigger Marina that was founded in 1974. The Peninsula Yacht Club Marina is in a well-protected deep-water cove.

From Charlotte: Take I-77 North to Exit 28. Take a left on Catawba. Go about 2 miles (5 Traffic Lights). You’ll come to a traffic light at the entrance to The Peninsula (on the right after Wells Fargo Bank). Turn right at this intersection onto Jetton Road. Stay on Jetton Road until it becomes a two-lane road (approx 2 miles). The first marked road on your left will be Harbor Light Boulevard. Turn left onto Harbor Light Blvd and you’ll come to the Peninsula Yacht Club on the right (large building with blue roof). Please call 704-765-1043 if you have any questions. From Mooresville / Statesville Take I-77 South to exit 28. Turn right on Catawba. Go about 2 miles.
