Do you have to live in The Peninsula to be a Member?
No, you do not have to live in the Peninsula to be a Member. In fact, several of our Members live out of state.

What are the demographics of the membership?
The average age of our membership is 55 years of age. Our members range from the newly married to our empty nesters. The majority of our Members are Social Members with either a boat at their home or no boat at all!

May we bring guests to the Club?
Yes, we encourage you to do so. They are welcome to take part in any of the Club’s amenities. There is a $4 pool guest fee.

Do we have boat rentals?
Yes, we offer our members half and full day boat rentals. Our fleet consists of a (2) Bennington Pontoons. What a nice way to get out on the water without having to own a boat!

Do we have reciprocity to use other local clubs?
The Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club has a reciprocity agreement with more than 600 yacht clubs in the United States, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands and Alaska through the Register of American Yacht Clubs. Additionally, The Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club shares reciprocity with all Safe Harbor Marina properties along the East Coast. Locally, Members of The Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club are entitled to dine at Ballantyne Country Club in south Charlotte.
