Rules:
At least one person must be able to float in a boat no
smaller than 1’ x 1 x 3’
The entire craft must be made of corrugated, non-coated
cardboard (sheets, blocks & tubes are allowed)
Human power or wind must be used for propulsion (no
motors)
Any material paddles may be used
You cannot wrap boat in duct tape or plastic
Lifejackets are required and must be provided by the
participant
Materials Allowed:
Duct tape/masking tape (on seams, joints and corners
only) – polyurethane/one-part sealers
Latex paint – wood glue/liquid nails
Silicone or latex caulking (on open corrugated ends
only)
Materials Not Allowed:
Two-part epoxy paints or glues – fiberglass - wood - styrofoam
Wax- Metal- Staples- Plastics- Plastic Bags
Boat Categories:
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the following divisions.
Class I Youth Division
Ages 6-12
Class II Teen Division
Ages 13-17
Class III Adult Division
Ages 18 & Up
